Here is a collection of posters that I designed for the rebranded Rockit Bar & Grill. For a design aesthetic, I used silk screened modern concert posters as an influence – using 2 to 4 color per poster and emulating some of the textures found in some of the best concert posters. I used illustration and collage on a number of pieces to keep things interesting.

Every year, The Underground throws week long party that coincides with Lollapalooza. This is a full scale campaign that involves, digital and printed creative, uniforms for staff and in-venue activations. In order to stand out from the clutter, I brand the weekend with bright, eye-catching designs.
With all of the 4th of July parties going on in Chicago, The Underground needed creative that was going to stand out. This party celebrated history’s most iconic renegades. The creative combines American colors with a nod to Marie Antoinette.
Otto Mezzo is an Italian-inspired cocktail lounge in the River North neighborhood of Chicago. The brand draws inspiration from Art Deco design and the Federico Felini film “8 1/2,” in which the venue’s name is inspired. I was part of the creative process from ground up, as well lead designer on everything from the logo to some of the decor.
The Underground’s Wednesday night party is entitled “Every Damn Wednesday,” or EDW for short. The theme of the night is “Disrupt Your Week” so I paired everyday mundane things like taking a bath and “disrupted” them.
The Underground Style Series celebrates fashion with weekly events every Thursday night during the Fall and Spring. My team and I really got to flex our creative muscles and design some high-end printed invites for our VIP clients. Each series would have a different look that would translate from digital promotion to uniforms and decor.
Bottlefork is a comfortably stylish New American bar and kitchen showcasing locally sourced and globally inspired cuisine & cocktails. The brand represents the seamless partnership of food and beverage coming together to create the perfect marriage of food and drink.
The Underground is one of Chicago’s most established nightclubs. I always tried to steer away from your typical “club flyer” and create more design focused and original pieces. A lot of these were done using pen and paper and scanning those illustrations into the computer. Old school.
The Underground is known for their extravagant New Year’s Eve parties. My team did our best to capture that luxurious feel with these invites.
Coming up with creative headlines and ideas while sticking to strict brand guidelines can be a challenge. Brainstorming within a team atmosphere is a must and always leads to a better product in the end.

Sunda celebrates the beautiful fusion of intermingling cultures found on the Sunda Shelf, a landmass, today submerged under shallow seas, that was once surrounded by the many different countries and cultures we celebrate at Sunda today like Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, China and more. These deep roots allow for great storytelling through photography and design.
